The Boys of Fall

The boys are all doing well this year, adjusting to our new schedule and new classes.

Payton has football three times a week.  It's like he is surrounded by 18 good friends all the time.  The coach says the boys all each lunch together each day, and I think that is cool.  He still hangs out with James, Joe, and Miah each day, and has many honor classes with each of them.  Payton's teeth are fully braced as of last week and now he is excited to see the braces finally come off in the next month or two.

Hadley went to the doctors and is now in the 20%!!  He is growing and catching up.  He is the perfect weight for his height too.  He is playing club soccer and his coach says he is doing very well.  We hope he can be in a game in the next few weeks.  He still has to earn his spot on the team, that's just the way club soccer works.  It's not a everyone plays, everyone gets a trophy type of league.

Fox is doing well but we decided not to put him in soccer this fall.  His muscle on his leg is still small and weak and needs additional time to strengthen even though his bone in fully healed.  Dr Do said is may take up to 6 weeks for his leg to be at full strength again.  Until then he can golf with me, swim, and this winter he can play lacrosse again.

All the boys have been making movie with iMovie app and the movies are hilarious. The boys have a talent for creating and story telling.

Here are the pics for the last two weeks, in order… kind of.

You know FHE has went terrible wrong when a grape ends up in an ear.  LOL
Soccer king has ditched his shoes… I don't know why.

Payton hates that I take so many pics.  But they really aren't for me, they are for the blog.
 Froggy going to the ortho.
Foxy not that happy about homework but he has been reading his Razkids and other books with me.
Foxy is however always happy about his after school snack.  This boy can eat!!!  I already spend $1000 a month on groceries… what is my grocery bill going to look like when he is older?!  Scary!!
Hadley joined me for golf last week.

 My master builder.
Payton and Jake and their constant wrestling and pranks.
BirdZ pooped on Hunter who was here to pick Payton up for a church fireside.

 BirdZ selfie
 I spy a Fox.
 Hadd progressing.
Working on an iMovie and not happy about my sneaky photo taking.
SunJam in Cedar.  No rain this year.. Yay!!

 Kitty was trying to help.
 Fox lost a tooth
I came home from the store the other day to find my handsome guys all taking a nap.  <3

Uma's First

Uma has had many first this past two weeks.  Her first day of Kindergarden, her first loose tooth, first game of golf, first audition, and time she landed in a part in a ballet.  Oobie is an amazing little girl, but most of us already know that.  Pictures not in order (they were the first time I tried to post this days ago but the program wouldn't save so I had to start over).

She did better than other kids who have came to our "Golf with Mom" group several times!
I love the face she is making in this pic.  Such concentration as she made contact with the ball.
Heading out with my favorite girl.
Oobie style

 Some puppy love after dance.

You are looking at an official Nutcracker performer!  I was so proud of her.  She did so well in auditions.
Ready for school and her hair has recovered from a summer of mistreatment.  Proper brushing, cleaning, and product (quality product) is the key!

If she fits she sits.  LOL  A quiet Sunday with this funny girl.

First day back to ballet and jazz.
Getting ready for the first day!
Homework she was given at back to school night.
First day of school!  I didn't cry but I came close.  Jake is right, she broke the mold.  There is only one Uma!

First day of tap.  And she is so small she can fit in her dance bag.  LOL

 GNO

To celebrate Oobie starting Kindergarden we had a GNO.  Brother's and Jake stayed home to watch Captain America.  Oobie and I got tickets from a neighbor for Tuachan's Little Mermaid.  It is by for the best Tuachan musical I have seen yet!  Oob loved it and has declared she wants to be in a play at Tuachan someday.  I guess we know were her next audition will be… when she is older… and can read… and may be a few voice lessons.

 Ms Sass

Doing Jake's hair between games.  LOL

 Brother's football jam in Cedar.
Getting ready to head to her audition.
Walking to the car with brothers.  TGIF!

Update!  Tooth is still loose but not out yet.  Uma has many friends at school and is loving it.  She works on her Raz Kids each morning before school.  And she plays so much after school she is asleep by 9 each night and sleeps until almost 8 when it is time to take brother's to school.  She thinks Mrs. Smith is the best teacher in the world (I would agree she is great!) and she thinks all of brother's friends are cool.
